Arrive at Dibrugarh and drive to Miao (approx. 5-6 hours). En route, pass through the lush green tea gardens of Upper Assam and the historic Ledo coal mining area. Upon arrival, check-in at a local guest house or eco-resort. Evening at leisure to explore the local market. Overnight stay in Miao.
Drive to Deban, the entry point of Namdapha National Park. Explore the forest bungalows area located near the Noa-Dihing River. Visit the nearby Lisu tribal village and witness their unique culture. Spend the afternoon birdwatching near the river bank. Overnight stay in Deban.
Begin a thrilling trek into the heart of the rainforest toward Hornbill Camp. The trail takes you through dense vegetation, offering chances to spot the Great Indian Hornbill and various primates like the Hoolock Gibbon. Experience the symphony of the deep jungle. Overnight camping in tents at Hornbill Camp.
Trek further to Haldibari to witness a wider range of flora and fauna. Namdapha is the only park in the world to house four big cat species (Tiger, Leopard, Clouded Leopard, and Snow Leopard). Later, trek back to the river base and return to Deban. Enjoy a bonfire by the riverside. Overnight stay in Deban.
Drive back toward Dibrugarh. En route, visit the Miao Mini Zoo and the Tibetan Refugee Settlement camp known for its traditional carpet weaving. Reach Dibrugarh by evening and check-in at the hotel for your last night. Overnight stay in Dibrugarh.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Dibrugarh Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey with wild memories of Arunachal's rainforests.
