Arrive at Leh Airport. Transfer to the hotel. The day is strictly for complete rest to help you adjust to the high altitude (11,500 ft). In the evening, take a slow walk to the Leh Main Market. Overnight stay in Leh.
After breakfast, proceed to Sham Valley. Visit the Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, and Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. Witness the Sangam (confluence) of Indus and Zanskar rivers. On the way back, visit the Shanti Stupa for a panoramic view of Leh. Overnight stay in Leh.
Drive to Nubra Valley via the Khardung La Pass, historically considered the highest motorable road in the world. Visit Diskit Monastery and the white sand dunes of Hunder. Enjoy a double-humped camel ride. Overnight stay in Nubra (Hunder/Diskit).
Drive toward Pangong Lake via the Shyok River route. This route offers stunning landscapes of the high-altitude desert. Reach the world-famous Pangong Lake (14,270 ft) by afternoon. Capture the lake's color-changing waters. Overnight stay in Pangong camps/cottages.
After a beautiful sunrise at the lake, drive back to Leh via the Chang La Pass (17,590 ft). En route, visit the Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Reach Leh by evening. Last-minute shopping at the Tibetan market. Overnight stay in Leh.
Early morning transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey. Carry back the magical memories of the land of high passes.
