Arrive at Imphal Airport and transfer to your hotel. Later, visit the historic Kangla Fort, the ancient seat of the Meitei rulers. Explore its moats, temples, and museums. In the evening, visit the Shri Govindajee Temple to witness the rhythmic Manipuri dance performance. Overnight stay in Imphal.
Visit the Manipur State Museum to learn about the royal lineage and tribal traditions. Explore Ima Keithel (Mother's Market), a unique 500-year-old market run entirely by women. Continue to the WWII Imphal War Cemetery and visit local artisans specializing in Handloom weaving. Overnight stay in Imphal.
Drive to Loktak Lake, the lifeblood of Manipur. Visit the INA Memorial at Moirang, where the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose-led INA first hoisted the Indian Tricolour on mainland India. Experience a boat ride on the lake to see the floating phumdis (islands). Overnight stay in Imphal.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. If time permits, visit the RKCS Art Gallery or do last-minute shopping for local Manipuri handicrafts. Transfer to Imphal Airport for your onward journey.
