Itinerary
Pick-up from Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station and drive to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). Check-in at your hotel and relax. In the evening, you can explore the famous MG Marg for shopping and local cuisines. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Enjoy a full-day city tour of Gangtok. Visit Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, and Hanuman Tok for panoramic mountain views. Also visit the Enchey Monastery, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, and the Flower Show. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. The lake is sacred and stunningly beautiful. You can also visit Nathula Pass (optional, subject to permit availability and additional cost). Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.
Spend the day visiting the magnificent Rumtek Monastery, one of the most significant monasteries in the region. Later, visit the Banjhakri Waterfalls and Energy Park. Use the rest of the day for final shopping or local exploration. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey with fond memories of Sikkim.
