After breakfast, drive to Sanchi (approx. 46 km), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the magnificent Sanchi Stupa, a masterpiece of Buddhist architecture commissioned by Emperor Ashoka. Visit the intricately carved gateways (Toranas), the Ashoka Pillar, and the Sanchi Archaeological Museum. Return to Bhopal in the evening and visit the Birla Mandir. Overnight stay in Bhopal.
Drive to Bhimbetka (UNESCO Site), home to prehistoric rock shelters and cave paintings dating back over 10,000 years. Later, visit the Bhojpur Temple, famous for its massive unfinished Lingam and 11th-century temple construction techniques. On the way back, visit the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (Museum of Mankind). Overnight stay in Bhopal.
After breakfast, visit the Taj-ul-Masajid, one of the largest mosques in Asia. Explore Bharat Bhavan, an indigenous multi-arts center. Spend some time shopping for local Chanderi and Maheshwari fabrics at the local market. Transfer to Bhopal Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
