Arrive at Raipur Airport/Railway Station. Meet our representative and start your scenic drive to Jagdalpur (approx. 6 hours), the administrative headquarters of Bastar. En route, stop at Kondagaon, known as the craft hub of Chhattisgarh, to see Bell Metal (Dhokra) art. Upon arrival at Jagdalpur, check into your hotel. Overnight stay in Jagdalpur.
After breakfast, drive to the magnificent Chitrakote Falls, India's widest waterfall. Witness the Indravati River plummeting down a 90-foot drop. Enjoy a boat ride (seasonal) at the base of the falls for a close-up view. Later, visit the ancient Gadhiya Mountain or explore the local tribal markets (Haat) to see the vibrant Bastar lifestyle. Overnight stay in Jagdalpur or Chitrakote.
Proceed to Kanger Valley National Park. Explore the deep subterranean Kutumsar Caves, known for their stalactite and stalagmite formations. Later, visit the milky white Tirathgarh Waterfalls, where the water cascades down in multiple layers. Visit the Anthropological Museum in Jagdalpur to understand tribal history. Overnight stay in Jagdalpur.
After breakfast, visit the historic Danteshwari Temple in Dantewada, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Witness the unique architecture of the Bastar kings. Later, begin your return journey toward Raipur. Check into your hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay in Raipur.
If time permits, visit the Purkhouti Muktangan (an open-air museum) or the Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum. Shop for authentic handicrafts at Shabari Emporium. Transfer to Raipur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
